my uncle got in from moscow at like 6am. we woke up at 9, had breakfast of really good rolls and jam and such. everyone was talking about going on a day trip and where we would go, i thought they were talking about further in the week, but we went to the train station and bought train tickets to bratislava (in slovakia). ahah it was only a 50 minute train ride. but we had to take the trolly to the station. when we got there my camera pretty much died. fail. so for the few pictures i had to hit my camera battery |: anyway so there was a new city, and an old city. and the old city was SO pretty. there were these stone streets, and at every turn there was, there were more cafes and restaurants. so many secluded kinda streets. we ended up going to this restaurant, but it took forever for them to bring out my food. but it was really good, i got this spinach dumpling dish, but it wasn’t like dumplings… i can’t really explain it, they were really small and kinda looked like pasta. and there were bits of smoked salmon on top, it was strange. yet awesome. and before that we ordered pickled stuff (like meat and cheese and peppers) and i had a pickled pepper and piece of cheese and it was surprisingly good. then we walked up to the hrad castle which was the kings castle or something i don’t remember. and it was really pretty but tiring to get to, so many stairs. there were a few banksy’s i saw (a lot in vienna too) and there was one (i don’t know if it was banksy) that said “why are you wearing that stupid man suit?” and i was like wreuothdfjc AWESOME (~~donnie darko). we couldn’t get into the castle cause it was under renovations so we sat and looked at it then went to this cafe overlooking the danube. when we came back to vienna it was raining pretty hard (this is at like 9) and my cousin and i got sudoko books and we all chilled at their house.
