friday, july 24th 2009 “we need a taxi, cause you’re hungover and i’m broke.” FANTASTIC DAY. stayed up all night (rebecca slept for a bit). left my house at 4am. i absolutely adore the city in the morning or late at night. it’s so quiet yet so bright (always) and it smells so nice. like the clean night time air cleaned away all the grossness that the city has during the day, i don’t know. can’t really explain but it’s just such a beautiful feeling. we went up to where the today show is filmed. waited on line there with rebecca’s friend (who’s name is rebecca haha). we waited until around 6am when they started letting us in and katy did sound check. yes. we went to the today show for katy perry :D yeah then we just kinda stood around until 8:30 after soundcheck when she preformed “waking up in vegas” “hot n cold” and “thinking of you” she actually sounded kinda strange.. not bad, just i don’t know weird. yeah and after that, we left and went and got waffles at the waffle truck (i love twitter for letting me know where it is!). we were SO TIRED. after standing for like 4 hours and having been awake for 12+ hours already. then i texted ryann and she had just gotten HOME FROM AFRICA! so i went to her house with rebecca and we chilled at her house and were DYING we were so tired. yeah. so then ryann and i went into the city and chilled with PAUL which was the first time i had seen him since he went to london! and we caught up and it was nice. then ryann and i went to see harry potter :D cause she hadn’t seen it. and i fell asleep during the part where harry / dumbledore go to look for the horocrux |: but when i woke up i cried so much because i started thinking about how it’s almost over for harry potter DDDD: yeah. then we went to jackie’s house and sat around. and i went home and fell asleep and slept for like 18 hours.
